REPUBLIC OF BOTSWANA THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF BOTSWANA IN THE STATE OF KUWAIT RE - ADVERTISEMENT OF COOK FOR THE OFFICIAL RESIDENCE TITTLE OF THE POSITION: Cook - Official residence SALARY: 390.500 KD monthly LEAVE: 30 working days CONTRACT TERM: 2 Years renewable BENEFIT: 25% Commuted overtime allowance QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma in Culinary Arts (or equivalent) EXPERIENCE: At least two years working experience in a related field. SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to read, write and communicate in English 48 working hours per week (Sunday - Thursday and Saturday) Transferable Residency MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Discuss meal preferences and expectation with the Ambassador, order ingredients and other materials needed for meal preparation, examine orders for accuracy and freshness, cook meals according to Ambassador's schedule, plate and serve the meals to the family and clean the kitchen cooking area and store utensils and cooking utensils. Employee may be assigned other related duties within the activities of the Official residence to be determined by the Ambassador or any other duly appointed officer where necessary.
